Meadowbank Courtyard, NW3

This tiny courtyard in Primrose Hill was an opportunity to do something a little bit different. We worked with a palette of strong structural shapes provided by plants such as palms and ferns, and introduced colour and texture in the form of wall paints and washes, and terracotta rhombus tiles. Co-designed with Jane Heather, attention to detail was crucial for this little gem. One of the most magical aspects of this tiny garden are the wonderful shadows and reflections that bounce around the space and change the atmosphere continually throughout the day.
