Town Garden, CB4

For this garden the clients needed an area to eat and entertain with space for a lawn and borders. Together we decided to separate the garden into two areas divided by a raised oak border. A staggered edge sandstone path helps to soften the rectilinear layout and links each corner of the garden. For the front garden I designed a gravel garden with an open, low trellis separating it from the pavement so the neighbours can enjoy it too.
